Wow, y'all sold out this latest batch of workshops in less than an hour.  Thank you so much, I cannot get over the demand for these sessions! This is my busiest time of year in terms of markets and commission work for the holidays, so unfortunately this was the final release for 2025. I will be releasing more dates in the New Year. If you'd like to be added to by mailing list to find out when, sign up for my mailing list here: Mailing List Sign Up – McRoberts Glass. Thank you for your support and interest!

Join me for a 3.5 hour introductory stained glass workshop in my private home studio in the St. Clair West neighbourhood in Toronto on McRoberts Avenue. Each student will make and take home a stained glass suncatcher.

  • All material costs are included.
  • Suitable for anyone 18+.
  • Not recommended for those who are nursing or pregnant as we will be working with lead.
  • Max 3 students per class (I would love to host more but only have enough equipment for 3 students).
  • Participants will be on their feet for the duration of the class. Unfortunately, my studio space is not wheelchair accessible.

More info: Intro to stained glass workshop in Toronto – McRoberts Glass

Cost: $180 per student.

What to bring: water bottle, closed toed shoes (i.e., no sandals), sweater if it is a cool month, safety glasses if you have a pair otherwise I will have lots on-hand.

Cancellation policy:  Classes can be refunded with 72 hours notice. Please email me at least 72 hours before your workshop if you need a refund. After that, they are non-refundable.  If you are unable to make it at the last minute, please find a friend to take your spot and I’m happy to have them come in your place.

Disclaimers:

-solder used in stained glass contains lead. I take lead safety very seriously so will have gloves and special lead hand wipes available for all students. Note that there is no respiratory risk with lead solder (it will not get hot enough to be a danger for vapour) so good hand hygiene is enough to prevent any health risks from handling lead.

-we will be working with glass, and we will be breaking it. Sometimes nicks and small cuts happen. I will teach you safe glass handling techniques and we will be wearing gloves (supplied by me), but I do have a stash on Bandaids on-hand if needed. :)
